Kairos Weekly #7 (August 23-29, 2026): Asher's Rise measured the same week it became the reward
This is the week the site’s whole premise lines up: the Wildcard reward is Asher’s Rise, and we logged a Lv49 copy at 6,330 DPS in the same week. The number matters less than what it reveals about the gun.

Verified in-game data: this week’s reward, measured this week
4 pieces logged, all Lv49 — the last generation before the cap lift.
Asher’s Rise (Maliwan sniper rifle), Lv49
- 6,330 DPS
- Unique effect Slow Burn — critical hits do not increase damage; they apply status effects instead
That is the part worth knowing before you farm it. A Maliwan sniper invites a crit-focused build, but Asher’s Rise trades the crit multiplier for status application. Slot it into a crit build and it underperforms; slot it into a build that scales elemental damage or status proc rate and it fits. Since this is a guaranteed-drop week, a status build is the reason to run it.
Jelly level scaling — third data point
With the previous issues, we now have three generations of the same grenade.
| Logged | Lv | Measured damage |
|---|---|---|
| Issue #3 | 46 | 4,558 |
| Issue #6 | 48 | 5,415 |
| This week | 49 | 5,903 |
About 29% across three levels, or roughly 9% per level. That is a usable rule of thumb for deciding whether to swap to a higher-level copy of gear you already like.

All figures are from Lv49. Version 1.10 raises the cap on September 10, so this generation of numbers ends here. We will re-measure after the cap lifts.
